The Breakwater project is an innovative master plan approach to designing a new residential community on the Gold Coast. The Master Plan presents a consolidated and clear vision for the future Breakwater Robina community that capitalises on its position alongside the City of Gold Coast’s Principal Activity Centre and its ability to influence and unlock opportunities within the surrounding area and dormant land holdings.
Place Design Group has prepared a development application for preliminary approval to vary the affect of the planning scheme (i.e. rezoning) as well as provide comprehensive urban design and master planning input. The application documentation identifies a range of strategic considerations in City Plan and the SEQ Regional Plan that justify an increase and change in density for this site and Robina as a whole.
