Place Design Group managed and delivered the development approvals for the City of Gold Coast’s new cultural destination, HOTA, Home of the Arts.

With the early work starting in 2015, the $37. 5 million Stage 1 was completed in time for the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, featuring an outdoor stage and concert lawn designed for artistic, cultural and civic celebrations for audiences in the thousands. Place Design Group will continue to work with the City of Gold Coast to deliver development approvals for the Master Plan, comprising of a green bridge and the associated earthworks to be completed in 2019; and by 2020, a new international standard city gallery.
