The Role
We are looking for a designer who is naturally collaborative, curious and passionate about landscape design. They will contribute to projects from concept through delivery, bringing strong planting knowledge and horticultural expertise to the team. Working alongside like-minded, experienced designers, planners, and technical specialists, they will have the opportunity to develop their skills, confidence, and understanding of the profession across a diverse range of projects.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Contribute to design development and documentation across a wide range of projects.
- Prepare presentation materials, plans, and construction documentation and graphic renders.
- Softscape design from conceptual to documentation stages.
- Preparation of planting concepts, species selection, planting palettes, and horticultural strategies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external consultants.
- Help deliver projects on time and on budget, with a focus on quality and creativity.
- Participate in internal design reviews and professional development opportunities.
- Supporting landscape design and drafting for a luxury resort development.
- Collaborating with design leads and directors
Essential Experience + Attributes
This role is for a thoughtful, enthusiastic designer with a positive attitude who enjoys problem-solving, collaboration, and learning from those around them. The successful candidate will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture
- Min. 4 year’s industry experience
- Full working rights in Singapore (citizen, PR, or valid full-time visa)
- Expertise in AutoCAD or REVIT or interest in learning REVIT
- Solid design and graphic communication skills and attention to detail
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with AI or interest in learning AI
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Demonstrate creative thinking abilities and contributes to firm wide design excellence and problem solving.
- Ability to create compelling narratives and develop inspiring & dynamic schemes
- Ability to prepare design packages from Conceptual stage to Working Drawing stage
- Strong knowledge in both softscape and hardscape
- A proactive, positive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
