Enhancement of cities and regions leads Director appointment

Place Design Group is thrilled to announce the appointment of Amanda Taylor as Planning Director.

A trusted industry leader and advocate for the planning profession, Amanda has been instrumental in the growth and development of Place Design Group’s planning expertise and the contribution to many city and regional shaping projects across Australia.

Place Design Group CEO, Beth Toon says, “Amanda continues to drive diversity of thought and leadership throughout Place Design Group.  Working across projects such as Waterfront Brisbane Redevelopment, the Cross River Rail Priority Development Areas, award-winning Designing for Density in the Tropics, and the Tasmanian State Government Toward Infill Housing study, Amanda has not only achieved great outcomes at a project level but has also embedded her practice of critical thinking and problem solving throughout our teams.

“I am truly thrilled to take on this new role at Place Design Group.   As an Australian owned, international design and planning firm, there is so much we have to offer. I look forward to leading our planning practice to deliver projects and places that celebrate our way of life, embrace our cultural past, and lead us toward a future that is more resilient.”, says Amanda Taylor.
