Both bring distinguished careers marked by their work delivering luxury hotels and resorts, global city masterplans, and large-scale public realm projects. This appointment marks a significant milestone in Place Design Group’s continued leadership growth and establishment of a new presence in Singapore.
Developing a Singapore presence is a key part of Place Design Group’s strategic vision to enhance the practice’s ability to deliver innovative projects and foster meaningful partnerships across South East Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.

A Landscape Architect and Master Planner with over 15 years of experience, Lee Lian Lim is a process and outcome-focused designer with in-depth expertise in high-end luxury resorts, environmental design and planning. Lee Lian creatively and strategically shapes programs with purpose and environments that inspire the imagination. She has contributed to a diverse portfolio of high-end luxury hotels, resorts, and bespoke private projects worldwide, with a focus on creating iconic destinations that combine a client’s vision with her unique design perspective and commitment to quality.
With over 15 years of experience as a Landscape Architect, Christopher Tan has designed and implemented projects across South East Asia, China, India, the Middle East and Africa. His portfolio includes hotels, residential and commercial projects, exclusive private commissions, and luxury hospitality resorts. Christopher is intricately involved in establishing the conceptual vision and later, the design documentation of his projects, building strong relationships with clients, operators, and brand partners.
