On Wednesday 28 August, Place Design Group were announced as the August 2019 winners of the Gold Coast Business Excellence Award for the Professions and Business Services category.
The Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards are recognised as the region’s most comprehensive and prestigious business awards scheme, offering specific and meaningful benefits to the wider Gold Coast business community.
As leaders in Planning and Design with a strong presence on the Gold Coast since inception in 2001, Place Design Group have helped shaped the Gold Coast as it is today, having delivered the notably designed iconic Surfers Paradise Foreshore, and more recently, working through the planning approvals for the Home of the Arts (HOTA) as well as Parkwood Golf Course Club.
Receiving this award acknowledges and recognises Place Design Group’s long standing commitment to creating places that celebrate and promote the iconic Gold Coast lifestyle.
Peter Bell, Planning Principal, Frazer Sandwith, Planning Lead and Michael Mitchell, Design Manager, were the Place Design Group representatives present to receive the award at the event, and were all humbled and thrilled to receive this prestigious award on behalf of the wider Place Design Group team.

The Awards have monthly winners from May through to October each year, with monthly winners all finalists for the annual Gold Coast Business Awards event to be held on 10 November 2019 at The Star Gold Coast.
