The Mackenzie Precinct, is the latest stage of the award winning Sunshine Cove development on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
This week, landscape construction is in full swing with turf and amenity planting underway and on track for completion by Christmas.
Constructed by Greenwood Landscape Management, the site is taking shape with a central arbour structure now erect and positioned as a separator between two, rectangular grassed areas which will act as ‘pseudo backyards’ for the residents.
Other key features include streetscapes, linkage reserves, and a central avenue park, soon to be fronted by terrace houses. Materials such as Designer Block from National Masonry and wood-finish, coated aluminium have been strategically utilised to build the site structures. This will result in a landscape which will not only look great but deliver a low, ongoing maintenance cost for council and ensure a lasting yet quality design for many years to come.
Place Design Group’s Sunshine Coast team have worked closely with the client since 2007 on varying aspects of the Sunshine Cove project, and are proud to see this beautiful and low maintenance design finally come to life within the Mackenzie Precinct stage.
