Place Design Group were engaged by Goldfields to complete a review of an existing subdivision layout for a major landholding within the Ripley Valley Priority Development Area (PDA).
Initial review of the layout resulted in significant improvements to functionality, dwelling yield and development efficiency. The urban design team was then engaged in an ongoing master planning role working with the client and consultant team to facilitate amendment of the MCU and subsequent development applications.
With extensive experience working within PDAs the urban design team were able to rapidly assemble initial drawing packages for RAL and Plan of Development (POD), which resulted in approval of the early project stages by Ipswich City Council as the assessment agency.
