Landscape design with a modern Gusu Impression.
The landscape of Jade Mansion Display is inspired by the traditional Suzhou culture, combining modern and simple aesthetic design. A series of design approaches of classical gardens of Suzhou have been incorporated that utilise the spatial relations between light and dark, openness and closeness, as well as spatial transitions, to create a modern Gusu (Gusu is the historic name of Suzhou) impression, which has been reflected in the entry space, and the Gusu style bridge, the Moon Gate and the large water feature in the central courtyard.
The design carefully dealt with the flowing rhythm of spaces, the interweaving of light and shadow, and the combination of natural and artificial elements, to create a memorable visiting experience.
