LCM Artistic Park

The park’s location adjacent to a major 6 lane road and frontage to a wide local canal saw the design team propose a new bridge which alleviates the need to walk next to the road when going between the metro station and park. Now activated further by the pedestrian flows over the signature “Rainbow Skyway”, LCM Artistic Park is culturally significant site in the local area.

Open lawn spaces with themed artworks connect via stepped seating walls and paths to paved urban plazas and sheltered pavilions. Paved plazas provide access to the local historical museum set within a traditional building that has been on site since 1935, further adding to the significance of the park.
