Sovereign Hills Book Place

The catalyst project for 3000 sqm of linking green spaces, Sovereign Hills Book Place was designed to be the defining anchor of the surrounding town. Located in the scenic hinterland of the regional city of Port Macquarie, the vibrant public space features a library kiosk and basketball court.

The space was designed to provide opportunities for both passive social gathering, activity and promote the importance of reading and education. In collaboration with Lewis Land Group and Fulton Trotter, Place Design Group developed a space which seamlessly provided multiple activities in a small space, activating it, and promoting the importance of physical activity and learning in the community.

The space will serve as an identifiable and unique community heart that facilitates engagement, connection, and collaboration, for all community members.
