The Village

The Village is an 83 hectare site which will comprise of approximately 850 homes once complete. Place Design Group were commissioned to provide the full scope of landscape architectural services from concept plan through to construction services. Working with EDQ’s vision to deliver an ecologically sustainable residential community, our team created a design that incorporated established trees, embraced the river and included a network of open parks that linked the existing river-front access. The project has been accredited with the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s, Enviro Development accreditation. This accreditation recognises The Village as being a 6-leaf development – the highest achievable award in environmental sustainability.
