Sydney Design Accelerates Growth for Greater Success

With the continued investment in public spaces and amenity within NSW, it demands exceptionally designed places that balance the needs of its communities, environment, culture, and economy. Place Design Group is proud to contribute to this effort through our team of talented professionals, including Liam Isaksen, our new Associate Landscape Architect, and Benjamin Parks, our newly promoted Senior Landscape Architect. With their extensive experience and passion for creating innovative designs, their contribution will continue our team evolution as we look to enhance Sydney’s built environment for years to come.

Benjamin Parks has been with Place Design Group for one year and has already made a significant impact on our team. With over three years of experience in commercial, urban design, residential, infrastructure, master planning, and public domain projects, Benjamin brings a diverse skillset and a passion for client communication and project deliverables.

“Benjamin’s passion and interest in mentorship and leadership is an invaluable asset to our team, allowing us to create high quality, well considered collaborative designs that are precise and meet the needs of the client. But it’s his dedication to client communication that truly sets him apart. Benjamin takes the time to understand our clients’ needs and works tirelessly to ensure that their expectations are not just met but exceeded. We are excited to see Benjamin take on even greater responsibilities and continue to lead our team to success.” said Nick Ison, Director at Place Design Group.

Joining us as our new Associate Landscape Architect, Liam Isaksen brings a wealth of experience in creating spaces for people, increasing value for the community, and enhancing environmental and landscape character. His passion for creating thoughtful and innovative designs has led him to work on a variety of projects, from concept master planning to construction services.

“Liam’s experience working on open space, recreation, playground, cycleways, and streetscapes has given him a unique perspective on how to create spaces that are both functional and beautiful. His leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and team members makes him an invaluable extension to our team” said Nick Ison, Director at Place Design Group.

With the addition of Liam and the promotion of Benjamin, we are looking forward to seeing what the future holds as we continue to grow and evolve. Our commitment to creating thoughtful and sustainable designs that enhance the lives of those who use them remains our top priority, and with the talent and passion of our team, we’re confident that we can achieve anything we set our minds to.
