Active Livingstone Strategy

Livingstone Shire Council engaged Place Design Group to create an active recreation plan to direct construction of active recreation infrastructure throughout the Shire. The Active Livingstone Strategy was a strategic planning project supported by a comprehensive and targeted consultation program. Utilising a host of innovative consultation techniques, the Strategy investigated key motivators and barriers to participation in active recreation throughout Livingstone Shire. The Strategy included a prioritised implementation plan to assist in acquiring government funding and facilitate future infrastructure designations to increase participation in active recreation across the region.
