Place Design Group developed a strong vision for Idea City. With excellent proximity to other parts of the city centre including the health and education precincts the potential emerged for a creative innovation hub supporting business incubation, research, science, technology and complimentary commercial uses.
The master plan also incorporates residential sub precincts each with their own unique identity and character providing a variety of vertical dwelling forms set within this creative mixed use context. With a staged expansion, the ultimate build out will encompass over 2000 dwellings and 430,000m2 of mixed use floor space. With a focus on the ability to adapt, evolve and change Idea City will become a dynamic destination in its own right.
