Place Design Group, the eventual winner was invited to participate on a master planning competition on the River Front Landscape Design for Dasanjiangkou City Centre in the city of Yibin in Sichuan
The competition focused on reinvigorating the 14 km of inner city river edges at the merge of 3 rivers and balance between commercial and residential uses along the River’s edge. Traditionally these areas have enormous value and present a solution where integration of open space can help define a city’s identity, lifestyle and cultural value.
