And, whilst the definition of Urban Design varies, our ethos centres on it being about making great places, great streets, cities, towns and centres. We are flexible, commercially grounded and innovative.  We believe great design outcomes come through shared knowledge, shared experience and collaboration.

Urban Design and Master Planning must also be delivered with a long-term view to achieving greater economic, place and people centred outcomes. As such, Place Design Group has adopted an Urban Design agenda that utilises placemaking process as an opportunity to drive clever and sustainable place transformation.

We believe in the test and trial of our designs. We believe in the importance of place experience, and we work to empower communities to take ownership and management of their places and spaces through a strategic placemaking approach.
