Oxley Creek Transformation has provided a 20-year vision for the Oxley Creek corridor, a 20km long parkland extending from the Brisbane River to Larapinta. Archerfield Wetlands is one of six projects identified in the corridor as priorities for investment in the short to medium term. Place Design Group led the design team and provided landscape architecture, strategic communication and planning services for the Archerfield Wetlands Precinct Plan.

Working in close collaboration with Oxley Creek Transformation, Place Design Group developed an exciting concept for the 150-hectare site, produced a series of high-quality 3D render images to convey the design and ultimately prepared a compelling draft precinct plan for the Archerfield Wetlands.

The project aims to transform the site into a key destination at the heart of Oxley Creek, offering a diverse range of activities and experiences to engage locals and visitors including nature trails for walkers and cyclists, an urban adventure playground, community buildings, a kayak launch and a multitude of recreational opportunities.
