The development provides Blue Mountains City Council with a significant opportunity to create a ‘recreation hub’ for the young people of the area and the developing concept design looks to maximize the potential of the site topography to create a challenging and exciting space for young people to enjoy.
A significant design approach is the ‘youth-led’ community engagement process, that seeks to understand how young people are currently using the park and importantly, how it can meet their recreation needs in future.
