Caddens Hill Sports Precinct is to be delivered as part of the Caddens Hill residential development. It is an important piece of Penrith City Councils’ regional social infrastructure and is critical to the new Caddens and Caddens Hill growth precinct as well as the surrounding Kingswood community.
Place Design Group were engaged by Legacy Property to provide design, documentation and delivery services on this $5M sports precinct.
The fully irrigated multi-purpose field caters for cricket, soccer and AFL and is supported by a 150m2 sports facility and amenity building. The field is surrounded with the traditional white picket fence and is supported with public amenities such as a children’s playground, a basketball half court and a netted cricket pitch training area. The perimeter path is accessible from Caddens Road and provides a circular bicycle loop that will be popular with adults and children.
