Edmondson Park

Place Design Group worked collaboratively with Dahua Group to implement the development of an open space focussed community development, which raised the standard of an integrated public open space network, connecting the community with an enticing array of recreational activities and open space parklands.

The ‘New Breeze’ development was a comprehensive landscape master plan with subsequent staged DA submissions involving the full landscape services to all stages of the development as well as the redesign of the sales centre. Place Design Group was also engaged in construction stage services and the successful handover to Council.

This was a significant project example of successful integration of built form with high quality open space, effectively creating extensions of the communities’ back yards for both passive and active recreation, with a focus of sustainable outcomes by way of WSUD, shared cycle networks (off roads) and integration of fitness, sport and opportunities for walking and exploration.
