The Gables Sporting Precinct

The Gables Sporting Precinct was designed to seamlessly integrate with the surrounding development and the wider region, offering a state-of-the-art community asset for all to enjoy. The design prioritises inclusivity, accessibility, and sustainability.

The northeastern section of the site features a versatile, multi-purpose field that can host hockey, soccer, and informal community recreation. To the south, a premium, elite-level facility catering to high-performance sports. Smaller warm-up and junior fields adjacent to these provide additional space for a variety of uses, extending beyond organised sporting events.

The site is well-connected, with multiple pedestrian access points and key entry locations. Walkways are thoughtfully positioned to improve visual connectivity, while strategically placed planting enhances views and defines the precinct’s different zones. This thoughtful design not only frames the space but also increases its functionality and versatility.

The Gables Sporting Precinct, stands as a flagship project for northwest Sydney. Developed in collaboration with the New South Wales Government, this $21 million sporting complex demonstrates how innovative design can foster vibrant, inclusive, and future-ready communities.
