Place Design Group have been providing ongoing Landscape Architecture services to Parkside Development’s Cosgrove Estate in Townsville since its inception in 2014.
Landscape architectural services included the preparation of a Landscape and Open Space Master Plan as part of the original Material Change of Use application, as well as design, documentation, and project management of landscape works associated with every stage of development, including all parks and linear corridors.
Stage 1 park is built around a sole existing Rain Tree which has become a feature landmark element for the project. Located directly adjacent to the Bohle River and existing wetland, the project features a 60m wide landscape buffer.
