Kwong Sang Walk Laneway

Ruthven St is a main street and destination in Toowoomba on Queensland’s Darling Downs, which provides strategic connections to central areas of the city.

Place Design Group were engaged by Toowoomba Regional Council to provide landscape architecture solutions for the main street, taking into account the Toowoomba Regional Council laneway strategy.

A beautiful, highly functional landscape architecture solution eventuated, designed to create an increased feeling of depth and interest for the area. A bold, green planting palette and vertical gardens were key inclusions to reduce the impact of adjacent buildings and compliment the character of Toowoomba city.
